People came in last week to sign wills, powers of attorney, etc. We don't mind that the appointment was postponed five times while they were there. That's why we're here!
But thankfully they did follow through. They spent the weekend having their children visit, and had them see, know and secure all the important documents.
It started when the man's father died. He knew he needed to set affairs straight having seen his father, a nationally known probate attorney, set up his affairs with two trusts, a will and other items (he was living in Georgia).
PLEASE take to heart the need to think ahead. The failure to do so can be tragic.
