Why do you feel a "calling" to this type of law? Because of my own experiences. My sister died in a plane crash at age 24. She had a will because she owned a house and was married. My mother left no estate. It was planned that way. We tore up my father's will and I became administrator. Then the UPC (Uniform Probate Code) came, and I saw a whole new system in place. I was determined to stay ahead of the curve and have stayed there since. That's why I say watch the video. Understand that, if you know what you're doing, you can probate a large estate without a fleet of lawyers. Most suburbanites can navigate the probate process without excessive cost. This office wants to be there for the proposition that honest, truthful dealings are appreciated, particularly when the death of family is involved.
