The older you get, the more acquainted you are with death. It was my mother who used to read the obituaries. I glanced at them. Get nervous when I see so many of people younger than me. I Gallup Polled some people and found out most people attend 3-4 wakes/funerals a year.
All the more reason to be a Boy Scout and "be prepared". Heaven forbid "if someone dies better call Al, he knows what to do." I'm on a crusade to do this kind of work because I see how many times the attorney makes work, causes undue delays, and/or overcharges. Maybe I just want to be a light in a dark place; particularly since there's a sense of darkness in lives oftentimes when a relative or close friend passes.
