Last night, while I attended a financial meeting (wearing masks and being socially distant) I was speaking to a woman next to me and we were talking about today's environment, etc. I casually asked her if she had a will.
She looked at me a little bewildered and replied, "no!"
I asked her to consider getting one and soon.
Anyone with property should have a will because you may need a license to sell that property, the filing fee for which could be higher than the cost of the will. A will can circumvent that. Most people don't know this.
