One asset the office is going to start to utilize is the Probate Law Digest feature of being in the Probate Section of the Massachusetts Bar Association.
We have two arcane situations, where there has been a three plus year delay in administering an estate, and questions arise as to the format and signer of the deeds, to whom they must be deeded, the requirement of a license to sell, etc. Problems perhaps not anticipated by the drafters of the Uniform Probate Code.
We intend to post this and other questions, so that members of the Bar Association who deal in probate matters can suggest solutions, refer to portions of the Code, inter alia, to provide guidance in steering these complicated estate questions on through to resolution.
