Probate, wills, etc. is a different kind of practice in this sense. It's not imperative you take action - as opposed to a real estate deal, an arrest, divorce papers, or whatever else.
You initiate the action, although you can be prompted by circumstance. Attending a funeral usually gets one tor two people who stop and think they better get their affairs in order. Just to Be Prepared.
