There are two kinds of law - where you represent businesses, corporations, unions-entities, and where you represent people.
90% of my work over 41+ years has been in representing people.
I can look back and see how the experience has impacted me. Going through trials has put me through trials, facing tribulation on behalf of someone has forced me to cry out for sustaining faith and grace. The blows and wounds received, or deflected on behalf of clients, has a cleansing effect.
You can't come through this experience without concluding that mankind is a fallen race; Divine Grace and Mercy are essential for societal continuation; through faith and patience there is strength to endure.
Why do I say this? Because just this morning I've received so many calls of dreaded family turmoil, mental problems, delusional people that it made me quite aware that not only is it impossible to please your Maker without faith it is necessary to help people overcome their situation, when often times they or their families are the problem.
